The MatOnTime project will generate intelligent solutions to optimize and transform planning in the construction sector

Clúster Mav,

Within the framework of the AEI 2024 call of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, the MatOnTime project has been launched to develop an innovative solution that combines generative artificial intelligence, blockchain and digital twins. The objective of the project is to transform the planning and distribution of materials in the construction sector, through the implementation and use of advanced technological tools specific to this.

Coordinated by the MAV Cluster, in collaboration with the GAIA Cluster, Celsa Group, Beawre Digital and Code Contract, the project responds to critical challenges in the sector such as: reducing delays, optimizing resources and minimizing environmental impact. In this sense, MatOnTime addresses problems such as high uncertainty in the construction phases, real-time transport management and reducing inefficiencies in logistics.

Among its key technological innovations are:

The project will last 12 months and Celsa Group's participation ensures that the technology will be tested on large-scale projects. "The ultimate goal is to offer the construction sector advanced technological tools that reduce costs, increase sustainability and improve the competitiveness of companies in an increasingly digitalized environment," reports the consortium behind the project.

This revolutionary solution, they conclude, "can mark a milestone towards the digital transformation of the construction sector, consolidating its role in the transition towards a more efficient and sustainable economy."
